Giorgio Primo 2011
The “Grand Vin” born from the great passion for Bordeaux vines. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, carefully selected and coming from single parcels of clayey and shale soils strongly rich in stone. It represents the highest territorial expression of the company.

70% Cabernet Sauvignon
25% Merlot
5% Petit Verdot
The climate in 2011 was characterized by frequent rains that have taken place throughout the winter until early spring months.
Summer temperature permit the good phonological phases of the plants. With the additional rise in temperatures at the end of August, have accelerated the ripening process allowing the harvest of Merlot in the first days of September These conditions have allowed an exceptional quality of polyphenolic component, enhancing the wine mineral aromas typical of our stony land.
The 2011 vintage production was 10,000 bottles of 750ml
WINEMAKING
The successive drawing off directly from the vats to new French Oak barriques is followed by an 18 month maturation period during which continual sensory tastings and analysis are performed to evaluate the evolution of the wines.
The bottling took place in a single solution from July 2013.
