The abundant winter rainfall still allowed for the accumulation of a good land water resource permitting for a smooth operation of the first phenological phases. The combination of above average summer temperatures and scarce rainfall led to a more contained vegetative development and an anticipation of the stages of setting and veraison. The high temperatures in late August further accelerated the ripening of the grapes, without jeopardizing the achievement of an excellent technological and polyphenolic maturity.<\/p>\n<p>The 2011 vintage produced around 150,000 bottles.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_toggle_section av-2d7m6g-631c984c227559f211e2855b1ef72855'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div role=\"tablist\" class=\"single_toggle\" data-tags=\"{All} \"  ><p id='toggle-toggle-id-2' data-fake-id='#toggle-id-2' class='toggler  av-title-above '  itemprop=\"headline\"  role='tab' tabindex='0' aria-controls='toggle-id-2' data-slide-speed=\"200\" data-title=\"VINIFICATION\" data-title-open=\"\" data-aria_collapsed=\"Click to expand: VINIFICATION\" data-aria_expanded=\"Click to collapse: VINIFICATION\">VINIFICATION<span class=\"toggle_icon\"><span class=\"vert_icon\"><\/span><span class=\"hor_icon\"><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id='toggle-id-2' aria-labelledby='toggle-toggle-id-2' role='region' class='toggle_wrap  av-title-above'  ><div class='toggle_content invers-color '  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>The harvest began with Merlot in late August, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese in late September and early October.
