The year 2015 was one to remember for the favourable climatic conditions. The mild and rainy winter saw below freezing temperatures while the springtime was a characterised by sunny and dry days, permitting for a regular bud break The summertime was warm, especially during the month of July, which is now remembered as one of the torrid months of the last century. August, thanks to three abundant rainfalls and a decrease in temperatures, allowed for a regular physiological recover of the ripening of the grapes. The cool temperatures during September and October allowed for a gradual and regular ripening until the harvest. These climactic conditions, coupled with a careful selection of treatments, made it possible to maintain an excellent state of health of the grapes that achieved a good aromatic quality and phenolic maturation. The Merlot grape harvest took place during the first half of September, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante B. and the earliest parcels of Sangiovese during the second half of September. In the first days of October the last parcels of Cabernet S. and Petit Verdot were harvested.

The 2015 vintage produced around 120,000 bottles.

The year 2015 was vinified entirely in the new cellar. Subsequently, the wines were aged in French oak barrels, 10% of which were new, where they managed to embody and intensify the characteristic notes of the vintage and of our terroir.

Bottling took place in a single occasion commencing June 2017.
